Questions before you begin

Clear answers, without the technical language.

Open one question at a time. If you are still deciding whether Wi-Fi sales are right for you, begin with the requirements and the path to a first sale.

Do I need to have internet before registering?

No. You can register, confirm your account and learn the setup process first. However, you need a working internet connection at the selling location before customers can get online.

Does SuperNet provide the actual internet connection?

No. You obtain the connection from an internet provider available in your area. SuperNet helps you prepare, sell and manage customer access to that connection.

What equipment do I need?

At minimum, you need a MikroTik Wi-Fi router, reliable power and an internet connection. SuperNet currently supports MikroTik routers only. Larger homes, compounds or public areas may need extra equipment to reach customers properly.

Can I use a router I already own?

Only if it is a MikroTik router. Even then, we strongly recommend using a different MikroTik router that is fresh or freshly reset for this installation. A separate clean router reduces conflicts, protects an existing connection and makes setup easier to verify.

Do I need networking or computer skills?

No specialist knowledge is expected for normal use. The platform presents setup as plain-language stages and highlights the next action. You should still be comfortable following instructions, testing with a phone and asking for help if equipment or cabling needs physical attention.

What costs should I expect before earning?

SuperNet does not currently charge network owners a subscription or platform fee. This may change later, and we will communicate any change before it applies. You should still plan for your internet subscription, MikroTik router or coverage equipment, power, installation, optional message delivery and any local business requirements.

How do I earn money?

You create offers with a price and the access a customer receives. Customers pay for an offer and receive internet access. Your earnings depend on the selling price, your costs and how many successful sales you make.

What is a package?

A package is a simple offer. It can describe how much access a customer receives, how long it lasts, how many devices may use it and the price. A small number of clear packages is usually easiest for a new business.

How do customers connect and pay?

A customer joins your Wi-Fi and opens the customer page. They choose an available offer and follow the payment instructions. Once a purchase succeeds, they receive the details needed to get online.

Can I also sell access directly to a customer?

Yes, but the sale must still be completed through the platform. From the voucher page, send the M-Pesa prompt to the customer's number. If the customer gives you cash, enter your own M-Pesa number and complete the platform payment yourself. An unpurchased voucher will be declined even when its code is entered correctly.

Can I offer both public Wi-Fi and longer-term home or business service?

Yes. During network creation you choose the customer services you plan to offer. Each service has its own offers and setup guidance, while remaining part of the same network workspace.

How many networks can I create?

New workspaces begin with one network. This keeps the first setup focused and easier to support. If your business later needs additional networks, the allowance may be reviewed.

How soon can I begin earning?

If your connection, router and selling location are already ready, you can progress as soon as setup and testing are complete. If you still need internet, equipment, cabling or better coverage, those steps determine the timeline.

Does the platform guarantee that I will make money?

No. Results depend on customer demand, location, prices, service quality, competition and operating costs. The platform gives you tools to sell and manage access; it cannot guarantee sales or profit.

What happens if setup finds a problem?

The process stops at the affected stage and explains what needs attention. You can correct the issue and retry. Existing router settings are checked first so important connections can be identified before changes are approved.

Why must I confirm my email?

Email confirmation protects your workspace and ensures important account messages reach you. You cannot sign in to a newly registered account until you use the link or six-digit code sent to your email.
